Some People GRRR

Yesterday hubby and I were at Walmart getting after Easter sale on candy (we like to keep candy dish full for grandkids--and sons) and any decorations that caught oru eye. One did, a Mickey Mouse holding an Easter basket with eggs in it. It is about 2 feet tall and stands (is stuffed, all fabric). Well, had it, 4 bags of jolly rancher jelly beans in cart and went to the inside garden center and got a small bag of potting soil and 3 of those lights solar lights you put along sidewalk, etc. Then we went out to the outside part where all the paltns, etc are, but was looking about a new swing for our yard. Old one is about shot. We parked the cart and then walked about 5 feet around a table to check out this swing. Walked back to the cart--the Mickey was GONE

Went back into the store and asked the clerk there if she had seem anyone come thru with the Mickey and she said no--by the way, it had been the only one they had. Went into the store and hubby was hurrying along, fastest I have seen him move in a couple of years--and there on the shampoo aisle were 2 women and a little gilr--and the Mickey in their cart. Jerry went up and grabbed it and said "That is mine. Do you always go around taking stuff out of people's baskets". One said the little girl had wanted it and the other said they didn't think the stuff in the basket belonged to anyone.

A mixture of the decorations, 4 bags of candy, 3 solar lights, bag of potting soil and us 5 feet from it? There was not another soul out there and they should have asked if that was our basket, not just helped themselves to what they wanted out of it. They knew it was our basket. Some people have some nerve.

Some people think they are entitled - that what they want, they will get, no matter who they walk over on the way. I'm glad you stood up for your rights and ended up with your Mickey Mouse.

I'm so glad your hubby got him back, I've seen people doing that here, particularly at Christmas, so rude and they certainly wouldn't like it done to them!

Good for you for reclaiming your Mickey. Sounds cute. I'd like to see it. If you could, please post a picture.

Here is the picture you asked for, took a couple of different angles. I wish they had had Minnie to go with him.
