Cbs Fires Imus!

Good for CBS. They took it a step further and fired IMUS a little while ago from his radio show. So not only is he not on MSNBC but now his radio show is gone. Kudos for CBS. They will lose money on this because they were beating CNN in the morning show ratings. So this is a big thing especially because usually money talks.

I will second your opinion 110 percent!
Well said, It's like my grandfather always said, "YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!"
Outstanding action on the behalf of CBS, MSNBC and companies that pulled from the show!
High fives and golden paws with a wagg'n tail!....

Should he really have been fired???

I have no clue who this radio personality is but I do know what he said. Yes, very hurtful and "perhaps" got what he deserved. He was just a fall guy in a very edgy political environment. He was not protected like those in politics sitting behind their comfy leather chairs and sending our sons and daughters into a war in Iraq. A war that should no longer exist and is so unjust.

What Imas said whas wrong and disgusting. But look at the bigger picture people. Why is he getting so much press over this. And Why am I waisting my time even talking about this?? I guess I fell into the trap too

He is getting so much attention because he has always been controversial and has gotten away with saying many things and things that were hurtful to people on the air. His radio show was broadcasted nationally and he was on MSNBC every morning from 5am until 9am. His show was killing CNN in the early morning show ratings. He is notorious for saying unkind things to people on the air. This one just caught up with him.
The sad things is he has a great camp for kids with terminal illness that he runs for three weeks out in Arizona and I think with all of this, the kids are going to be the ones to suffer because it is run entirely on donations. We will see.

OK Thank-you. I now have a better understanding... I think. Clearly Imas has made Millions of $$$ in his career. If he is really worth his weight in salt then he will continue to support the Children's Camp. Let's find out what this guy really is all about. Is the Camp a Tax dodge or heart felt???

I know where my bet is going... (and it is not the camp)
