sand everywhere and it's the hubby's fault

Can I rant a little about my hubby? We generally agree about our handling of Collette and are consistent of our treatment of her so she doesn't get confused and it's easier to train her. But he deliberately ignored our previously agreed upon plan not not to allow Collette in the playground's sandbox! UGH!

She dropped a ton of sand all over my clean floors. The house is a beach. He thinks it's worth it to see her have so much fun.

I know that the sand is not clean, it's got babies and toddlers in there all day long and they are dirty little beasts, dirtier than she is. I've seen parents change diapers in there and the little ones have accidents in the sand. I don't want Collette catching something from them and I don't want a parent accusing her of giving something to their precious child and I don't want sand all over my house.

Thanks for listening. I'll calm down soon, it's not that bad. I'll get over it but it does make me mad.

You made my morning.....LOL. Dirty little beasties....Poor Collette!
I say build her a sandbox at home, away from the grubby beasties, and hubby gets put on sand patrol!

Important thing is you followed Golden Rule #7 (c):

7(c) Before reprimanding your Golden for anything he or she does that is a no-no allways first look for a human to point the blame at. If no human is available wait until one comes home.

The hubby did it again this am but this time he hosed off Collette in the yard, had her shake and shake and then rubbed her off before coming the house. Who says you can't train a man. I'm working on it.

Thanks for the support out there.

I agree with everyone else. Make hubby clean up the mess and then make him go out and build Collette a nice little sandbox of her own.

Hmmm...I have a problem with mine, too. Tucker had been losing the few pounds I wanted him to and then I noticed he's getting chunky again. I asked DH yesterday, "Are you feeding Tucker at night again?" Yup... Can you come and train mine for me? Please...
