| A GHOST in my house? Strange things occur in this house. Lat Oct. hubby and i went out on the gambling boat and we went got in i took off my good bi-focals and laide them on the bar. I have old cheap walmart reading glasses everywhere and only use my good bi-bocals when watching the NASCAR rce so I can read the running order going across the top, and on the casino boat, and most times when shopping. Well, we were going out the next night and my glasses were not on the bar. Didn't really have time to look for them, so i use the spare pair i keep in the car in case I forget to take my favorite ones. over the next few days we looked and looked and no sign of them. There had been some newspapers on the bar and i decided that hubby had probably thrown the glasses away accidently with the papers. I put away my zillion totes and boxes of halloween stuff and got out the Thanksgiving stuff. I have a built in book case by the bar and that is where I put my lighted halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas villages. Thanksgivng passed and I got out the small tote that i keep the Thanksgiving villiage people and smaller pieces in, took it and put it on the bar, took the lid off--one of those that you have to pull up by th4e corner. is about 18 long, 12 wide and 10 deep. Well, I wrapped up ech of the little figures, etc, put them into the tote and when i went to put the lid on THERE WAS MY MISSING BIFOCALS ON THE LID. Now there was no way they had ever been put up on the tote in the spare bedroom closet, they would have fallen off when i took it down from the shelf, i would have seen them carrying it to the livingroom, they would have fallen off when i pried the lid up. THERE IS NO EXPLINATION FOR THEM SUDDENLY APPEARING ON THAT TOTE LID ON THE BAR. I slide them off the tote lid and didn't actually pick them up for a few days. Next is the case of the missing money. Hubby saves change while on the road, bring it home and puts it in a bank and when bank is full, we roll it. We call it my "mall money" because every year the end of nov., first of Dec. i go 100 miles to San marcos to the HUGE HUGE outlet mall with youngest son & DIL and Christmas shop. usually have around $250 in there. He not only saves the change, but also the dollar coins. As we roll it we put it in a back bag with a locking zipper and put it in the bottom of the clothes hamper in our closet. A couple of times a year i take the rolls out and go to the bank and change them for cash as those rolls of money fill the bat and make it SO HEAVY. A couple of days before we were to go i got the bag out and took it to the bar and unlocked it and took out the rolls to take to bank. And I saw the baggie with the dollar coins, 3 of them the golden colored ones--was not in the locked zipper bank bag. I figured jerry had run out of cigarettes, didn't have any cash and had taken that bag of coins (was 8 in there) to run up to the old 7-11 (new name now) and get a couple of packs of cigarettes. When he called the next time I asked him and he swore he had not done that, but i still thought he had. We had right after Thanksgivng lst year. A few days later son came over to help me get my zillion totes out of our closet, spare bedroom closet and garage and help me put up tree and some decorations---i do every single room in the house, even bathrooms. WEll, we pulled out the hamper to get to the 2 large totes--like 4 feet long, 20" deep, and wide. We pulled them out. AFter i had taken everything out of them and put it up, i put them back in the back of the closet. They were full of stuff i had to take down to put up Christmas stuff, So i had to push them back there. After Christmas i pulled out the hamper and the totes, took out the normal stuff, put the Christmas stuff back in the totes and pushed them to the back of closet, put the hamper back in front of them. WELL about 3 weeks ago hubby went into closet to get something and yelled out "OUCH.' he had stepped on something. now i have to explain that if there is one thumb tack on the floor and 5000 people barefooted thru the room, and he follows them barefooted, he will step on that one tack. Anyway, out he comes carrying that baggy with the 8 dollar coins, 3 of them gold color. They were right beside the hamper. now, I ha had the maper in and out twice and drug out and replaced the totes behind the hamper twice. There is no way that bag of coins could have been there and not been seen or drug out. Also, there is no way they could get out of the locked zipper bag. We always take it locked to the bar and the key is on the ring hanging by back door that has our spare mail box keep and spare key to our gate. After we put money in, it is locked and the key rehung. So how did the bag of coins get out of the locked zipper bag onto the closet floor in the first place. It has to be a ghose. Then the end of Janurary i heard a funny noise coming from my built in bookcase--by then my what-nots, golden plates, etc, was already back on it. i thought it must be my clock that plays a tune every hour had low batteries and was making that noise. i took it out--and the noise wa still there. only other thing on the entire set of shelves that had a battery was a little fountian. Took it down. The noise sounds almost like a hack saw being drawn across metal pipes in morse code--one long, 3 short, one long, 3 short, l long, 3 short. it always did it 3 times, then again in about 30 minutes to an hour, 3 times again. i finally decided it was coming from the wall. Did this for a couple of days, then no more--tiil last Thursday just after jerry got home and he heard it, then son came over and he heard it. he took stuff off the shelf, sure it had to be some batterly operated thing with low batteries. But he finally decided it had to be coming from that wall. He said it must be piles--no pipes in that wall. I have not heard it since Sunday morning. I THINK WE HAVE A GHOST.

| Whoa... okay I'm creeped out. I'm starting to imagine your house as one of those fairy tale ghost stories huge mansion, with creaking wooden stairs, millions of rooms and every single door creaks when moved.... Ack.
