Does anyone do insanity? Or beachbody

So since the new year I am very proud of myself I have been sticking with my new lifestyle. Eating right, exercising etc. it hasn't been easy but if Ive done it this long I know i can do.

I'm about to get my workout in at home it's with Shaun t it's called "insanity" has anyone else done it? Or any other beach body workout?

Good for you! It must be especially hard with your school load too. I haven't heard of insanity but as an old lady I'm smart enough to not try to do anything with a name like that

SIL tried insanity and said it almost killed him. I am sure it is a good workout but I would work up to it. He ended up seeing his MD and 2 DC before he even begun to feel better. I never heard of Beach body.
Way to go on your new lifestyle of eating right and exercising. Keep it up but take it slow. Don't hurt yourself.

Thanks. I actually tried insanity before and lost 20 pounds but then personal issues with my family came into the mix and I just couldn't do it and ended up gaining even more back. But this time I'm sure not letting it stop me. I still take it slow I don't push my self to the max at least not at this level.

I loved Insanity/P90X...too many jump/bounce exercises were killing my knees but it was a great workout while I was doing it

I have friends who swear by Beachbody as well, Beachbody as I understand it is more of a whole lifestyle where P90X is more of "just a workout". There is a nutrition guide in P90X but I've never met anybody who uses it :P

I am in love with insanity and just Shaun T's training methods! That is going to be my go to workout once this baby comes to get the weight off!

It works too - if you stick to it! You are right to not push too far. Do what your body says is comfortable. If you do that you will find yourself doing more and more each time and will feel great! Don't give up on it! You won't regret it!

Good luck!!

It's so funny that I saw this post! I just started insanity yesterday!

I must say I am feeling a little sore at work today... BUT it's good to feel like I worked hard and I'm glad to hear it's been successful for some of you.

Just gotta stick with it
