I've got a 38 gal, 35 gal, 2 5.5 gal and 2 2.5 gal fish aquariums im about to change over to sand substrate rather then gravel. So, I was looking into play sand as its $7 for 44lbs vs $30 for 20lbs of the "Aquarium sand" at Petsmart. Yeah, you can use regular play sand.

So, I text my father and he set himself up for this one

Me- Hey, can you do me a favor?
Father- Depends on the favor....
Me- Can you grab me some play sand from Home Depot/Lowes I have the list of sand I can use here or let me use the truck to grab it
Father- Why do you need sand?
Me-.....Cause I miss being 6 years old, I want to put it in the back garden and build sand castles with it and add a moat with water around it
Father- Figures...
5 minutes went by
Me- I need it for my fish tanks im changing to sand
Father- Sure you are Dumb Dumb want some gum gum?
35 minutes later
Father- Do you really need it for your fish tanks or are you F'ing around with me?
Me-

Haven't heard from him since lmao. Im sure it will be an interesting Saturday when hes here. Not having spoken to the guy in 5 years (for his choice of an evil now ex wife...and ex step mother), one thing I did miss was how we could joke around and not get insulted by one another.
