| Every morning, first thing whoever wakes up first does is put on a pot of coffee. Sometimes we make a second pot in the afternoon on weekends. I never drink coffee at work though. |

| I like good coffee (black), but rarely drink it. My weapon of choice is tea, mostly green and white. For the greens, I love Matcha (ceremonial grade), Genmaicha and Gyokuro; in the white teas my favourite is Shoumei. I occasionally drink black tea (Assam or Lapsang Souchong), but the oxalic acid is hard on my kidneys, so I limit my intake. I also drink a lot of Rooibos. |

| My friend roasts coffee so I have it nice and fresh. Most times it does not even need sugar in it. Cannot beat freshly roasted coffee - no matter what coffee maker you have. Otherwise I get the Godiva Espresso coffee and grind it fresh in the morning. I do NOT buy Starbucks. I normally have my "european" coffee first which is very strong and then I have the "american coffee" which is less strong - sort of like tea with taste of coffee. |

| I love coffee and tea! I drink coffee in the morning, one cup upon waking and another at morning coffee break. Sometimes I will have a hot tea in the evening but not if I think I won't get to sleep. We have a Keurig and we love it but not the cost of the pods...I also find that sourcing some of the pods we like are hard to find in Canada. Sometimes we bring back hard to find ones when we travel to the USA. Lately we have been using the K cups only to cut costs since i have been unemployed and back at school. I really like to be able to use our favorite coffee without having to buy pods. We like several brands - Kicking Horse and Salt Spring Island Roasters (both BC companies), we also like some of the President's choice blends, Tim Hortons and Starbucks! If we go to Hawaii...our luggage comes home with pounds of Kona and Kauai coffee inside. For tea, may favorite company is Murchies, I can order it online and they have many blends to choose from. I am a black loose leaf tea fan. Jenn, Murphy and Sassy Saffron

| I came from the Boston area, the land of Dunkin Donuts. My old town we had a Dunkin donuts every two to three miles, so I would have umpteen oppurtunities to stop at a drive thru on my way to work. Everybody always has a coffee cup in their hand no matter where you go. In RI, people eat coffee ice cream and coffee flavored milk. I never knew it was such a regional thing. I come to KC and they finally built a DD about 30 minutes from me, so if we are in the area, I do stop by. DD was in KC about 20 years ago, but left because it did not do well. ( DD in this case is the nickname for Dunkin Donuts ). We do have Starbucks and Panera, but people just don't drink it the way they do back east. The Folgers factory was right here downtown, so I would smell it when I when I went for walks at lunch but it closed last year. Most people here buy Folger's for home use. I actually like Folger's now too, even better than the DD I make at home. Here, I can't remember the last time I had a good cup of coffee out of my house, except at a little breakfast shop in my town, and they use a coffee I have never heard of. It is much better than the Starbucks and DD's.
