This happened in my neighborhood a few years ago. My daughter was 12 when we first moved out into the country. She came running in all upset because there were two "lions" in on our acreage that ran off. A couple days later, we found out that our neighbors mastiff and their mix keeshound looking dog ( who had just gotten the lion cut ) had gotten loose. We tease her all the time now.
