| Disney Marathon AHHHHH it's almost here! Tomorrow we leave for Orlando, so on Sunday we can run the Disney Marathon. I am absolutely terrified as my longest run has been 19 miles and I felt like death afterwards. Hahaha...it should be interesting to say the least! At least we will be in Disneyworld! |

I'm good up until about 14 miles, and then I REALLY start to feel it. I'm hoping Disney will give me the motivation I need! ![]() Georgiaonmymind: BAHAHAHA . Those people are CRAZY!!!!!! |

| I have 2 friends running Goofy this year :-) I could not, as it is my daughters birthday and she asked me to throw her a 15k race for her 15th birthday. We are running a 25k the day before :-) One day I will do Goofy! |

| for her 13th birthday she wanted a race entry for her first half marathon. 14th birthday came and went, and for her 15th birthday she wanted to do a race with her friends. Well..most of her friends are on her Cross Country team, but run the 5k distance, not much further. So we decided to keep it a 15k not a 15 miler. Happy running! |

| I have a friend doing the goofy as well! I could never do it, good for those who can! agree that is awesome that you are throwing a race for your daughter's birthday.

| I've read several race reports on runnersworld.com about the Disney races. They sound like fun, but not something I would ever do. If I ever get enough experience to run a marathon, it will be as small a race as I can find. Disney is not a race for a PR (unless it's your only one) but sounds like a good one for the experience of it. Take lots of pictures and have fun. |

| That's SO awesome! A half marathon for a 14 year old is impressive. I've heard the Disney is pretty fun. My goal is just to finish! I think with time I will forget how incredibly terrible training was, so I might end up doing another one, but I have a feeling time will never be something I am worried about. |
