It totally sucks... I had a perfectly wonderful,paid for vehicle until some stupid idiot RAN a red light on 1/31/12. That vehicle was worth more to me running than totaled. Well, it was totaled... However, you, as I, have many things to be grateful for. I trust you were not hurt seriously. That is a big one... A very big one. As everyone here and my friends have pointed out, vehicles are replaceable, people are not. Was a dog in the car with you? Again, windows shattered in my van and there were four dogs in the vehicle. The one who had the worst impact, was my Gabby in a wire crate. The front and back doors bent,as did the sides, plus the shattered glass fell into her crate. And the inconvenience. ... I am glad you are ok...the manager of the guy who sold us our new car yesterday, called to see how we liked the new Sienna. He told me,that he was just able to walk after a car accident in September... Take care.

I'm so sorry to hear this Tobysmommy but at the same time so happy to hear you're alright. I had my ForeRunner totaled after running into a deer and rolling it. It's not much fun dealing with it but I did end up with a new Jeep Grand Cherokee which served me very well for 9 or 10 years. Hopefully you'll end up with something that pleases you.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's wonderful that you feel okay but please get yourself checked out by a doctor to be on the safe side. Things like whiplash can be hidden by adrenalin. I hope the jerk has insurance that replaces your truck!
