What is your New Year's resolution?

Happy New Year everyone!! I don't know if this has been done yet, but I am trying to pick out my New Year's resolution. I love the idea of making - and sticking! - to a great resolution so I want to pick carefully. What are your New Years resolutions?? Do you usually keep yours?

Previously mine have all been weight related. And they all failed. Lol!!!

I was thinking of making mine "do not get pregnant in 2013" but knowing my streak with Lady Luck, I'll end up pregnant by January 2nd!!!! Lol!!!

So I think I'm going to stick with, "always look into the other parties eyes, and realize they too carry a spark of the divine. With that knowledge, let your petty thoughts melt away. Any anger, and frustration, any jealousy or envy. Realize that you are where you need to be and that all you want will come in due time."

Kinda long and sappy but hopefully it helps me feel more content and less frustrated at work this year. Lol!!!

I've been a bit of a hermit this past year, so my resolution is to reconnect and spend more time with friends.

Stay calm. Have faith. <- This is #1 for me. And it applies to many things. Good example was this morning I did the first peek at my bank account since 2 weeks before Christmas. I knew I'd been conservative and careful, but I STILL freak out even New Years, because suddenly you are right back in the middle of paying bills and catching up after Christmas spending. And I've had too many years where I overspent my budget. o_O Anyway, I was panicking myself sick for nothing, because my bank account is right where it should be. Thank God.

I intend to lose the 10 pounds I've regained this fall/winter. I don't know why it has been so hard for me to keep the weight I lost from coming back, but I don't want to be fighting the same 40 pounds over and over. BTDT. Seems like I'm always either losing or gaining; it's very hard for me to stay stable (unless I'm trying to lose; then I can plateau for months!)

I think my resolution might be to complete the 30 day challenge that my yoga studio is beginning on February 1. I do a really strenuous power heated yoga kind of thing - it is a great workout but REALLY hard. The 30 day challenge involves doing 30 classes in 30 days - so that is every day or if you miss a day you have to go twice another day. It sounds incredibly hard both physically and in terms of fitting it into your schedule as the classes are an hour and a half every day. But I think it would be awesome to complete it!
