The Nissan Quest is AWD - newer models (2011 and up if I am not mistaken) but are less roomy than the Sienna. We are Toyota people but lately I just don't like the styling in the newer Toyotas. May go with the Subaru next since my space requirements are less.

Just checking in to see how you're feeling? Hoping there were no surprise muscle aches a couple days later.

I just saw this too, glad no one physically hurt but it will leave you nervous at intersections for quite some time. People are so impatient now---can't wait two minutes at a red light so they hit the gas instead of the brake at the end of the yellow.
I have also noticed how people now will edge their car's nose so far into the lane as they wait to turn right. Why can't they wait back where they are supposed to?

Ignutah, actually the light for the guy that hit me had been red for awhile due to traffic patterns... He was clearly either texting or talking on the phone, it was not a question of trying to squeak thru a yellow light... My shoulder is green... As are places on my legs. The only one "hurt" is my pup, now scared of the car...does insurance cover her psychiatric issues? I was afraid to drive the rental car out of the lot, but I am over that. Tonight, we bought a brand new Sienna, the newer version of my vehicle... I loved driving it home ... Not going to take it to the show on Saturday...as it is brand new. Only Gabby and one relative of hers will come for a little while until I get over the brand new part... Again, I ,am glad that as damaged as my car was my four dogs and I walked away....

So glad you found a car. Did you go with the 2013 or 2012 model?

I doubt they would cover psychiatric issues. I would assume that any visible damage that may require medical assistance may be part of property damage. The dogs are technically your property. Sorry I am just thinking it out loud while typing. I will be munching on this though.

Congratulations on your new vehicle. Sorry it had to be under such circumstances. Hope little Gabby can overcome her fears. Enjoy your new vehicle.

Poor Gabby. How frustrating that this has affected her so. Hoping she will be able to work through it and learn to love the car again.

Went to a trial today... In a rented vehicle . I have to admit taking two friends and an extra dog made me nervous... But I am so nervous driving.... A car,comes up on the left and it feels like it will run into me. This will take time..
