Does Toyota still make the Sienna? How about a nice new 2013 if they are available.

The anger and the fear, settle in after the shock wears off. I found it helped to go to the other driver's trial, DWI, and watch him get sentenced to jail because it was not his first offence. I also testified at his probation hearing and made sure he served his full
sentence. He is out now, but he has a lifetime driving ban, and believe me if I ever see him driving, I will be the first to call 911.

I am so very sorry this has happened to you and the dogs. I don't blame you for being very angry. I hope everything turns out ok. How is Mantha today?

Mantha, who was not in the car, but woke up hobbling on her right fore yesterday, seems better today. My brain freaks because I was already primed from the accident... So I was thinking the worst for her , she is 10.5 years...her shoulder hurt, so I radiographed it and did not see any hint of a bone cancer...my biggest worry.. She is entered this weekend in an obedience trial... And on it goes..... She seems to be recovering.. I was a wreck yesterday when I sw her limping....

Call your insurance company if you're unhappy with the rental and make sure they'll cover something closer to your Sienna. You may have a flat rate for coverage, which will limit your options, but double check and make sure you're spending your full rental allowance in order to get something more comparable to the disabled car. If you can't get a Sienna but a Honda Odyssey is an option, try it. Honda and Toyota are having a competition over making their minivans safer and nicer than each other's, and the results are pretty awesome.

I am also grateful that Mantha seems better. I was so emotional yesterday and she was part of it. My problem is that every dog in this house is a dog I bred..when anything goes wrong I fear the worst...because they are all in my heart...

So sorry to read about the accident but really glad that you and the dogs seem to be ok. Even if the insurance covers the loss of the car, you're never compensated for the time and aggravation that result from these things. Keeping my fingers crossed that you and Mantha do well this weekend (as I recall, she just needs a Q for her title?).
