| I am so sorry to read about this, and thrilled you and the dogs are all okay. It is very, very scary someone ran a red light like that and hit you so hard.

| Wow, I'm glad to read that you and the dogs are all OK! I hope that Gabby can put this behind her quickly. I'm sure she will be fine soon too. I swear that I see at least 10 people a day driving with their eyes pointed down toward their beloved smartphone and not the road as they drift into my lane. Makes me crazy. |

| I am so glad that bruises are the worse of your injuries. I wondered about Gabby in the crate. It is not surprising she is a little nervous of the crate. But you are correct, your minivan functioned exactly as it is suppose to, Toyota is one of the best in the industry. I don't know about the US, but in Ontario, the insurance company is required to provide a similar or better vehicle as a replacement. How about a nice big SUV, it might make you feel safer, I know it did me. I was T-boned by a drunk driver in 2003, the SUV I was driving rolled 4 times before coming to rest on its roof. Fortunately both my kids were securely fastened in their carseats, and no furry kids. I don't think the dogs would have survived. Like you we escaped with mostly bruises from the seatbeats, and a bruise on the forehead of my then 8 year old, who while the car was upside down decided to undo the harness in her carseat, "just to see what would happen" What happened is she landed on her head. The brand new (12 miles on it) Dodge Durango that was my rental definately made me feel safer.Did the police attend the accident scene? You mention that you do not know if the other driver had been drinking. Prayer for a speedy recovery, and for Mantha that she is feeling better. |

| The worst part of an accident is the time it takes out of your life to deal with the tow truck, the auto repair place, your insurance company, their insurance company, the police, your stuff in the car that has to be rounded up and done something with, the rental car, and several things I haven't listed. All things that will take time and effort out of your day that nobody will reimburse you for. Accidents just suck the time out of your day usually for many days. Hope this one wraps up smoothly and doesn't cause you piles of time and grief.

| I need to read the police report to totally digest everything... I have made this turn at least one to two times daily for the past 26.5 years... My van was a 2008.. I need to replace it,but I do not want another 2008, obviously I want something newer... But again so grateful, that the girls and I are ok. Grateful my, boys(human)were not in the vehicle...
