| It was so scary. When I got home, I was in a state. Mick laid next to me on the couch, licking my hands and Georgie got in my fqce. They are my empathy dogs as is Mantha, who is currently in my face. I am just in a state of shock....

| So glad you and the doggies are OK. I am sure the other person feels terrible for what happened - at least he came to the vet to make sure the dogs are ok. The shock shall pass and the soreness will take its place. Once you get time to recollect from all this I hope you will go and get checked out and in any case get some muscle relaxer. |

| I was involved in a serious auto accident around 15 years ago, on one of our freeways. My car was completely totaled. While I walked away because of my car's airbags, it took a long time for me to feel right. Please take time to recover. The adrenaline rush tends to mask how you really feel. | I am so sorry this happened to you. I got rear-ended by a drunk hit-and-run 17 months ago, totalling my reliable, paid for Subaru. Please do get checked out both this week and in a couple of weeks, as soft tissue injuries may take a bit to show up or start hurting. Fingers crossed that the perpetrator loses his license, and that you and the pups are all really fine after the shock wears off.

| Makes me mad as hell! Probably right in that he was texting or on his cell phone and was distracted, as I see this every day on my work commute. Just stupid and so dangerous!!! Janice, you better than anyone know to care for yourself and I won't tell you again, but darn it..just makes my blood boil when I hear of a friend who was hurt by something so stupid and crazy. Hope you just cuddled up on the couch for the evening and let the New Years happen on TV instead of going out. You need the down time. Glad that guy came by, and can only hope he has learned a valuable lesson. Just know there is a spanking new van somewhere waiting for you to come get it. Cars can be replaced, but not you! Stay well and hope the shock lessens. What a way to usher in 2013, but your blessings are that the dogs are safe and you wern't hurt. That is ALL that matters.

| I am just seeing this! Thank God you & the dogs are okay! Cars are replaceable, you & the dogs not so much! I have had several cars totalled, never my fault. It hurts to take the financial and emotional hit but as long as you & the dogs are okay ... BTW; you probably know this but see a doctor by the weekend to make sure you don't have whiplash (I have had this show up after a few days), do not sign any insurance paperwork until you have received your doctor's report etc. Insurance companies can be scum bags who try to settle quickly before it is known if you and your dogs are all fine, and will not be having medical bills associated with the accident. Why on earth did that man stop at your clinic? ETA: Okay, I have to confess to laughing a bit - I briefly wondered why your husband laid down next to you and was licking your hands, then realized Mick was one of your dogs

| That must have been really scary. Glad all are safe. What a shame about the van but your lives are worth much more. There are a lot of idiots out there behind the wheel.
