Part of my goals in 2013 is to clear up my mess. One of my mess is my place. I have received some Christmas Cards last two weeks. I am thinking to get rid some of them now... too soon?

I just cannot accumulate more things... and I am clearing and cleaning up my place slowly bit by bit.

No, it's not a bad thing to throw out your cards after you have finished enjoying them. Most of us should keep way less stuff around.

I tend to throw out cards fairly quickly unless they have sentimental value.

My grandmother saved every card she ever got. When she passed away we found boxes and boxes of them in her house. It was unreal.

No. Christmas is over, the Easter eggs have already appeared!

I must confess that I do hoard my Christmas cards to make sure that I have not missed anyone when I write my cards for next year and then I throw them out or make gift tags.

I already threw away all of my Christmas cards..except for the cards from GRF

I decided because they have pics of GR's I'm keeping them and next year I'm going to make a special GR tree. I love having all the pics. The other cards I received...gone

I usually toss mine when decorations come down.

I put them up and toss them when I take them down -- hate to admit this but the photo/cards also. I'm actaully taking the tree down now. A bittersweet xmas for me this year so I am glad it's over
