Its official! I'm back from my week of skiing in Colorado! I was gone for about ten days total and we managed to make it back with no problems, which was a miracle considering all the winter weather. The trip was awesome and amazing and I am still sore from all the black diamond skiing, but it is so nice to be back home and to have my Winston back. Riley doesn't get home for another couple of days because he went to visit my good friend's family across the state and he decided to push back his return to help his dad deal with the weather at their family business. I was bummed at first but turns out it is amazing just being able to get some quality, one-on-one time with Winston. It is just him and I, no boyfriend or older dog to distract either of us. We are doing a lot of playing and snuggling and he has been so perfectly well behaved, its amazing.

I missed you guys!!! I hope you all had a great holiday and everyone is safe and happy. Let me know what I missed!!

Okay which one of you was it? Be honest, who told Winston that I wrote on the forum how nice and sweet he is being? Whoever it was, you'll be happy to know that I stepped out of the shower with my nice fuzzy new bathrobe to a crazy maniac hell bent on killing my lovely, soft new robe. I finally gave up and took it off and changed into sweats, he was running around like a crazy person, having the zoomies and launching himself at the robe at every chance he got. Now he is rolling around like a mad man with his crocodile toy.

This is why we can't have nice things!

Hey Val,

Glad to hear you enjoyed your ski trip and most of all, made it back safely. I keep watching the Weather Channel and seeing all the crazy weather the NE is having. Reminds me of why I live where I do that rarely sees the white stuff or ice.

Sounds like Winston missed you, now that you're back, he's ready to have some fun.
I know Riely will be glad to see you too. That's one of the best things about returning home is seeing how excited they are to see you.

hahaha so much for having "the perfect puppy" LOL They do like to keep us on our toes! Bentley does that to my slippers when I get out of the shower, in fact it has turned into every time I wear them so I've been wearing them less since he's going through a fear period now.

I think it's time for more puppy pics {hint, hint}

Okay, first for some Christmas pics!!

The first picture is most of the gang out on the slopes. I'm in the middle with the bright pink coat. I figure if I wear that coat no one will ever lose me while skiing.

The next is our Christmas tree in the ski cabin. This is Christmas Ever, before Santa had come and the house turned into a total wreck of wrapping paper and stuff everywhere.

And finally, just a silly picture of me, my dad, and my little cousin playing dress up with all her funny animal hats.

And now for Winston! These are just some pictures from the last day or so, we've been having quiet time together.

He loves to sit on my lap and watch the show New Girl because there is a character named Winston and he always looks at the screen with fascination when he hears his name.

He has also officially claimed my green armchair as his own. Oh well!
