I'm not a big meat eater and I hate seafood. But my dad's family is heavy on the seafood so every family gathering involves seafood of some kind. It's hard to be the odd one out.

This year, I got the best gift ever! Another year with my Dad.

My mom is drama so we've been estranged for almost 3 years now. So we spent Christmas with my BFF's family. We've been so close for so long that their mom actually scrapped food off her plate onto my husband's plate, like he was her son. My DH was fine with it but it was such a "I'm comfortable here" thing. No drama. No presents. Just amazing memories and relaxing times.

My co-worker who is almost 70 years old got the 50 Shades of Gray trilogy from her grandson!! LOL! He had no idea just what he was giving her!
She says she will be taking it back....

Crazy, isn't it!!! He is in the mid 20's and evidently he does live under a rock!!! LOL!
The kid comes by it naturally though, believe it or not, his mother had not heard of the books either!! LOL!!!
The salesperson at the store told him they were very popular for women and that was enough for him! Sold! (She was probably young and cute!)
