| I am reading "The 12 tribes of Hattie" by Ayana Mathis. The newest Oprah club book. I'm only 1/4 through it, but as of now I rate it a 4! I have enjoyed every book on her book club list except 2, I believe. |

| Thomas Kinkade I so enjoy the Cape Light series by Thomas Kinkade and Katherine Spencer. How I love Thomas Kinkade's paintings and stories. He also put out a few movies. This year, he put out The Christmas Miracle. I love miracles! My Mercy is a miracle! The plot involves a troubled marriage between parents of an autistic boy Matthew. The father becomes snowbound on the way to see Matthew. He meets other people who are snowbound and they gather into a church. After a while, the mother goes out to find her husband and becomes snowbound herself. She finds her husband. Matthew sadly expresses how mommy and daddy are going to miss Christmas. He wanders off in search of them. The caregiver discovers that the child is missing from his bed and contacts his mother. All of the people go on a search party to find him. It is such a touching reunion when Matthew's parents find him. This movie had me choked up. It is so beautiful! I just got done watching it. sniff sniff! |

| I got sucked into The Art of Racing in the Rain last night and had to force myself to turn off the Kindle and go to bed. (I'm old enough to be amused at "turning off my book.") ![]() I'm very much enjoying it so far! |

| I just got the 50 Shades of Grey trilogy for Christmas, so now I am reading that. I never really considered reading it, but so far it is pretty good. I am only 50 pages into the first book, since I just got it a couple hours ago, but so far so good.
