| When it rains it pours? Yesterday after we got home from my son's graduation (that we had to park about 1/4 mile away from and walk in a torrential downpour-so we were coming home to change out of wet clothes so we could go out to our celebratory dinner with our son), DH went in the laundry room and it had flooded (a downspout had clogged and all the water came through the wall to the laundry room which is below ground level). My husband always says, having bad experiences and problems just makes us appreciate all the more when times are good. PS I laughed about DH meaning Dorky Husband. When I first saw LOL, I thought it meant Lots of Luck Last edited by lgnutah; 12-21-2012 at 08:23 PM. Reason: PS |

When DH was home after surgery two years ago...I had to quarantine him to the Bedroom as two or our boys had the flu. I knew the next day, Sunday, was football...so I went out and bought a tv for the bedroom. A 42 flat screen...he was appreciative UNTIL he got better and then started complaining that I should have gotten him a bigger one...OMG WTH...Our bedroom isn't that big and a 55 would have been like sitting in the middle of the game..."precisely" his point I guess... ![]() You need a stove to right? Make him a deal...tell him you get the stove of your dreams if he gets a 55 inch...might just make him think twice...lol |

| He's right, it's got to a 55" TV! As you age your eye sight tends to go south so we need the bigger screen to be able to see and track the ball; basketball, football, baseball and particularly the beach volleyball!![]() Pete

| Has to be at least 55". I agree. A broken arm might even qualify him for 60". When we got married, I had a little Sony 9" B&W. Times have changed. |
