they have less skin problems, no sunburns and such.

My mom's Bichon (pure white) when I was growing up loved to sun bath and he nev got sunburned. I guess he was just lucky!

I've heard that with cats. Like that white cats have health issues. I don't know much about it though. Good luck with your new dog. I think the black standard poodles are lovely!

it's now looking like I'll be going with a goldendoodle, a breed I've never considered, but I found a breeder who's willing to not only give me a puppy but help me with my fundraising and find a vet who'll work free of charge

though I won't be getting a puppy till around my birthday in September I think. a little farther away, but a really nice women with lovely dogs
