| The woman that interviewed me called and said she wants me to come in this Thursday to sit in and observe the job for a couple of hours to see it I'd like it or not. So, hopefully that's a good sign that the interview went okay. It's so bizarre that in all the jobs I've had, I was the one interviewing and hiring all the employees. Now I'm on the other side. Thank you everyone for all your words of encouragement...they really, really mean a lot to me. It's so strange to feel so unsure of my abilities when I've worked for over 34 years. But when you don't work for a long time, it takes such a toll on your confidence... |

| You will do great next week, it is a good sign that that called you back. GOOD LUCK! |

| Just now reading this thread... I think getting the callback is a great sign. I'm guessing their hesitation if any is that they like you but are worried that you won't be challenged enough by the job. So show lots of interest! I know how you're feeling, having been put of work for most of the past two years. the job market we live in (Bay Area) is very tough on people with years of experience. This is a young part of the world I think. Two weeks ago, my sister and I finally sold my parents' house. Once the money went into the bank, I got the first good night of sleep I'd had in months. Good luck! I hope it all works out for you. |

| Agree that the callback to observe the job is a great sign. I totally get where you're coming from re: the confidence thing. There are some people who can talk a great game but once on the job, can't (or don't) walk the walk. Then there are the people who may not be the greatest at an interview (after all, it's hard to promote yourself !) but are fantastic employees. It's better to be the latter for sure. I think they see something great in you and I'm wishing you the best.
