Oh man...this is just too hilarious!

I've had the " which end goes where" while on vacation in Florida, five months pregnant, sharing a condo bathroom with another couple. The same night dh's wallet was stolen. Lol!!!

My poor dd had stomach flu pn Christmas eve. And last year she came down with a fever the day after Christmas and spent our entire ski trip in bed.

I had a nasty cold over thanksgiving. Turned into bronchitis, then I had an ugly allergic reaction to the antibiotics. Now I'm waiting on stomach flu, as 2 kids have had it in the last 10 days and our sitter was out with it today. Praying if I get it It's before Christmas.

ETA: I posted this before reading all of the responses. Hope I didn't offend anyone by saying it was hilarious. I am thrilled that those of you with serious, life-threatening illnesses are still here to tell us about it years later! I can't even begin to imagine being diagnosed with Leukemia or any other major illness any time, but especially for Christmas.

I am glad we are both still here to remember those Christmases.

I spent last Christmas and Thanksgiving home alone with a bad back(lasted 3.5 months). It was the first time I had really, really hurt it. I have had one more bad bout for about 7 weeks this summer and hopefully have learned what to do when it starts to flare up.

I really didn't mind being home and not driving the 5+ hours to my MIL's. I had a lovely ham sandwich and a couple of nice naps to pass the days.

The members with major problems make me thankful for my relatively minor ones. I'm glad you made it through and hope you have a wonderful christmas!

Gotcha 10/2004 - lost ya 10/2010

Unfortunately, our entire family is sick this year.. Mother in law just got home from the hospital yesterday, she has COPD and developed a nasty chest cold. Our Daughter went to the DR yesterday and she has the Flu, they want her out of school until Thursday. My SO is sneezing and coughing and running a fever this AM. I have a runny nose and sore throat so I am sure I am getting the flu. We have cancelled our Christmas Eve party for the family..

The only one that is happy is Miaya, she gets to have someone home with her all day.

No offense taken!

Hubby is very sick this year, **** cancer, so not sure what christmas will be like.

I know what this is like. My dad has been fighting cancer over and over agin for the past 4 years. Everyone is whispering that this will be his last holiday season. I got him for thanksgiving (we live in different states) but won't be able to visit for Christmas.

Our Christmas will surely be spent in bed, healing from our bout of colds and calling family to talk to them and wish them happy holidays.

No offense taken. Fortunately, it is far in the past, and a lot of wonderful things have happened since.

I was in the doctors office today for a prescription refill and after reading about all the sick people on here last night, I am hoping I don't catch anything.

I am very sorry about your husband, it is a horrible disease. Hopefully, this Christmas will be peaceful and enjoyable, for you and your family.
