This year I'm giving homemade applesauce, apple butter, pasta sauce and tomato jam. Some elderly friends who are widows or widowers are getting homemade butternut squash soup, since I harvested 47 of those suckers from my garden!! And I made organic butternut squash puree for my baby granddaughter

I love making gifts for my family and friends. I paint this year I made Ojibwe door greeters. I gave a couple as gifts and I have had several people buy from me to give as gifts. I have made lap quilts in the past along with hand craved necklaces, hand drawn cards( a set of 12 all occasion). I think it is fun to think of new things to give.

this is a sign I made yesterday I was thinking of giving it to my sons Ojibwe teacher

Love homemade gifts, food or otherwise!

Only problem now is I'm vegan and some people who I exchange gifts with don't know so I've gotten a lot of food so far that I can't eat Including some delicious-looking (and smelling!) homemade truffles!

But I love giving out homemade vanilla extract and other goodies...most people don't even know the baked goods they're getting are vegan!

that is a great healthy alternative. im sure that plenty of ppl are shocked that they are vegan cookies! my friend makes an amazing vegan chili! i ask her to make it for me everytime i come over

I am in love with cooking, love to make interesting foods using unique ingredients and love all sorts of ethnic foods. I love it when someone else who is a great cook makes something cool for me for a gift (especially when they make something I've never made before)
