Exactly, we love good food made from scratch and we love variety. This way we can enjoy that without the daily hassle. Usually we eat two or three times a week on work days from there. I will occasionnally fix the same thing a second time (bolognaise or crawfish chowder, for example) and there are still a couple of other things I want to make but am missing a key ingredient for.

I have 15 different dishes in there, most of them with 4 portions for 2 people. Some sides also. For most things, I just have to cook the pasta, rice, or potatoes or warm up the bread and we are good to go. By April 15 the whole thing is empty, cleaned, and unplugged for the summer. All the containers go into a big plastic bin and take a summer break also.

Yum, I've never tried crawfish chowder!

I'm supposed to be on a low carb diet to help level out my blood sugar. I think low carb and Cajun are kind of oxymorons

im just starting to live on my own and i living off of salad, tuna and canned soup. can you recommend any cookbooks or websites. i'd LOVE to have a freezer like that.
