| I am sooooooooo jealous! Congrats! I too was a young mother, 4 sons by 29 years old! My oldest will turn 30 in December, and I always thought I'd be a grandma by 50! Well, I turned 51 this year, I think he owes me a tricycle motor!!!!

| Awww, Congratulations!! I always pick on my mom and say when the grandbabies came along--forget about the kids. I mean it out of fun and know that is completely untrue....but my parents are ALL about the grandkids--and we are blessed to have such wonderful grandparents for our children. My parents are VERY young grandparents. Mom was 16 and Dad 19 when they married and had me--and then my brother almost 2 years later. Mom was 42-43 when my brother had his first and was 50 when I had my only. It's great....they have a ball with the boys (all grandkids are boys) and they boys LOVE them. So happy for you! |

| You sound just like my mom! I'm 24 and my husband and I are expecting our first baby in April. My mom will be 48 at the time. I'll be 25 about 2 weeks after my little one is born and my mom will turn 49 a week after that. Our situation is a little unique, though. My parents divorced when I was 7 and each remarried people who didn't have children yet. They each had 2 more kids with their current spouses. So now my baby will have aunts that are 12, 8, and 7 when she's born and an uncle that will be 10. My mom always said that I couldn't make her a grandma until she didn't have any more kids in elementary school, but we messed that one up! lol
