| Just the Two of Us Today... It's 34 degrees out and we've had our morning walk so Woody is curled up in front of the fire enjoying the warmth.  We celebrated Thanksgiving this past Monday with family and had a wonderful time. Today will be a quite day as the few neighbors I have are out of the area celebrating with family & friends. This will be my first Thanksgiving day alone and I'm kind of looking forward to it. No family squabbles, no traffic to fight, won't eat too much food, won't drink too much, won't have to worry about Woody getting into turkey bones, or people feeding him from the table, I'll have complete control of the remote, no dishes to do, I can hit the hay when I want...hmmm this won't be so bad. Maybe I can smoke some trout today for the Christmas Holidays and put up some decorations.  But to all of you still in the mist of Thanksgiving have a wonderful day...and try not to eat too much! | Sure looks cozy Pete. Just me and Fiona today too, nice and quite. I have turkey, butternut squash, mashed potato, green beans and homemade cranberry sauce for dinner. She will get her own little plate

| Sounds and looks like the perfect day, Pete. This is the first turkey day without Mick. ****.....what I would do for just one more Thanksgiving with him. Watching the parades and football games was a priceless tradition we had. You and Woody relax and enjoy your day.

| Sounds like a great day. I'm enjoying mine so far, too. We are eating in a restaurant this year (sister is packing to move, and I have a small house and a new, untrained dog so no one's cooking). I'm looking forward to telling someone what I want off a menu, having it brought to me, and then having the dishes taken away.  Have a happy Thanksgiving!

| I am cooking, but just for me and my son. Just finished pies, and getting the turkey ready to go in now. DH, and my youngest are still in China working...will be a very quiet day here. The pups and I will take a hike through the woods after we get the turkey in the oven. Smallest one I've ever cooked......Wishing everyone a wonderful day!

| We are doing something small too, but with a very big turkey because I want lots of leftovers !! This is actually J's first Thanksgiving because I was sick last year and she stayed home with me to play nurse. This is my most thankful Thanksgiving ever ! Thanks for your birthday wish, Fi !!
