I would love another Newfoundland. We have had a Newfie (a Landseer Black and White). She was a great girl. Would love another Newfie but man are they subborn! She was the best with the kids but STUBBORN!! I would love a St. Bernard as well.

We have had 2 goldens, so they are first on my list. I grew up with Great Danes, and would love to have one. I've never had a Newfie, but I love their personalities, so I'd like one of those, too! Large breed dogs are the best!

If I didn't have so many, I would get a Mini-Aussie. Started seeing them in the Int'l shows a few years back and finally went and visited a breeder/trainer. Smaller med- sized dogs, such intelligence and loyalty. Younger sister just got one who is 10 wks now and he is amazing. Really, really like them and they would fit perfectly in our country lifestyle.

Deb & My Golden Kids
Kye & Coop - the loves of my life
My little Biewer Yorkies - all 7 of them!
Sadie & Okey - my mini aussies

I want to surround myself with people who are "Cracked" for they are the ones that let the Sun Shine in.

Thanks for asking! If I couldn't get another Golden, I would want either a German Shepherd Dog or Australian Shepherd.

I have always loved German Shepherds. They are my second favorite after Goldens. They are awesome! They are loyal and affectionate. They will take a bullet for you in a heartbeat, for they are very brave. They help people heal like Goldens do since they make good therapy dogs, seeing eye dogs, service dogs etc. Therapy Dogs International features the breed as a loving breed.

Australian Shepherds are such beautiful dogs. Border Collies used to be my favorite, but my home meaning lifestyle is not suitable for them. There are some Aussies that have the energy level of Border Collies, but there are others that have the same energy level as Goldens. I especially love Tri-Colored ones, with Blue Merle being my second favorite color. When I was training for the AKC Canine Good Citizen on Mary Ann Robertson's farm, she brought out dogs to practice with. This is one thing Mercy needs practice with by the way. One dog she brought out for practice was a dog named Davis. He was such a gorgeous Tri-Colored 4 month old Aussie. I couldn't stand it! I wanted to pet him, but my higher priority was getting Mercy trained. Mary owns a kennel and I believe Davis was boading there. When she took Davis in and brought out a Burnese Mountain Dog, I knew I had lost my chance. I still wish to this day that I had petted him while he was tied by the barn. At first I thought it was Mary Ann's own dog and I was going to ask her which breeder she got him from. Oh well!

I love Collies too! They're beautiful. Their coats are kinda long though. The grooming appears to be more of a challenge.

He follows you around anywhere and if you call him you can certainly know that he is going to come. He is not bitey or mouthy at all, and he is so calm and agh! It makes me kick myself in the butt because here I am dealing with a 8 month old naughty puppy and this little guy is only a couple months old and he is an angel haha!
Nala was like that also.

on subject: I love a Standard Poodle (the big guys) and a Heeler.
My cousin has a Blue Heeler (A.K.A.) Australian Cattle Dog.

You know, I actually thought of owning a Rottweiler at one time. They are big babies, but they are a lot of work! They need a firm, strong energetic master!
