I have always had mixed breed dogs-- --- Bella is a mix as well. My fav was a cockapoo when they were free. I had 3 of those...I probably won't have any more dogs but IF I do, it will be a mix.

Honestly, I just like a dog that I can do all kinds of fun things with and that wants to do fun things with me.

I have waited for her my whole life and when she finally arrived I was not disappointed... I am smitten... I love my goldens (they are my husbands dream dog) but those Irish Wolfhounds have my soul...

so the breed I wish to own is the breed that I am lucky enough to share my life with ....

I can't imagine not having a Golden but if I couldn't for some reason, my next dog would be a brindle English Mastiff. I really prefer long haired dogs but I love the Mastiff.

What a beauty she is! i dont think i have ever seen someone with an Irish Wolfhound. I dont really know much about them to be honest. Just curious, what made you so interested in the breed, besides the obvious physical appearance!

you actually don't need the space you think you need... they are actually great apartment dogs because they are so low key... a good romp at a dog park in a fenced area is great ... but honesty I think my goldens and flat coats need much more space than she does because they are so much busier...

"Breeds you wish to own?"

I've got the only breed I wish to own and that of course is a Golden. I just wish I could have started earlier but unfortunately work and living conditions didn't permit it...but I always knew when I was able my dogs would be Goldens.

Not that I don't like other breeds I've always had a fondness for English Setters having been raised with them, Berner's & Newfie's have always had a certain appeal as well as Flatcoat Retrievers but the bottom line is the Golden...we just seem to be made for one another.

A really good friend of mine has one, Heidi is an awesome dog and I wouldn't mind having one of them....She is a bit small though, for the breed, but sweet!!!!

A friend of mine just adopted a two year old Great Dane named Jupiter who is AWESOME. Meeting him made me want one! But of course I want any new dog I meet, lets be honest!
