REASON FOR JOINING THIS FORUM: a few years ago we shared our home with two beautiful Maremmas (super-large Italian Sheepdogs) Thor & Neeve ...brother & sister we got as seven week old puppies. Out of ignorance we did not train them properly& had huge issues with barking, recall, & not being able to walk them often due to pulling on lead...one weighed fifty kilos the other weighed forty- six kilos. Finally, due to complaints from neighbours, we were forced to rehome them. It was absolutely heart-breaking & we still grieve over them. We want/have to get it right with Loki. We want him to be with us for his whole life. So I have done lots of Internet research & came across this forum just four days ago. I am learning such a lot.
