| My neighbor offered me a chance to buy one of her pups after Maggie died in August. It was a mix of three small breeds, something like a yorkiepoobichan...whatever that is...I actually laughed at her. Couldn't help myself, and then tried to explain, which probably made it worse, that I wasn't into designer mutts. She was highly offended that I wasn't more appreciative of her giving me a chance to own one of her puppies...like it was some big thing to be considered for one of her dogs...whatever... And the first breeder I contacted about a Golden puppy mentioned she had just purchased her first Mini Golden and was embarking on a fantastic journey into starting her own line of Mini Goldens aka comfort Goldens...ugh...needless to say, she is not the breeder I chose to go with... |
