My bridge boy really enjoyed tearing into the Christmas gifts too. My current two haven't discovered the fun in it yet.

On yeah - Little Tucker didn't eat that whole squirrel last month. DH was checking the freeze for some dinner fixings and uh oh - I guess I put the carcass in there in a bag so I could take it off later.
And then I completely forgot until he found it.

I can totally relate Teresa, I just took out two field mice (Skyler's most recent obsession), that were neatly wrapped and placed in the freezer to avoid stinky trash. I always check the freezer on Wednesday nights when getting the trash to the road, doesn't everyone?

I was going to hit you up for some squirrel recipes, they are doing a dance in my attic. Still waiting to get one in a trap. No more painting them funny colors and giving a second chance this year. I'm done being nice.

Do you need to borrow some kitchen tongs?

Clean them up a fry them up as long as you have really good teeth. Otherwise you can make a mighty fine gumbo out of squirrel. Yummy!

My oldest son wasn't sure he wanted any of my chili after seeing Skyler's treasures in the freezer. I always save my used ziplock bags for just these emergencies!

I prefer my stout leather gloves to the tongs but thanks Gumbo might be nice, the meat I'm sure would fall right off their little skeletons. Never imagined frying up the little critters.

No pity for squirrels here obviously. I don't need the "I don't brake for squirrels" bumper sticker. I have given up painting them in day glow colors and setting them free.

Oh, and the cute little field mice eat all my bait before the squirrels get to it, sigh. I wondered last morning if Fiona had a problem shaking her head due to a ear problem. Nope, pests in the attic. Colder weather comes in and so do the pests. I am so done being nice. This is war.
