Is there any forum member close to this area? My daughter has booked a flight for this coming Thursday for an job interview on Friday. What is the weather there these days and what is the weather forecast for the end of the week? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. I am about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from there. I assume she is flying into Bradley? I also went to school out there. Usually this time of year it's upper 50s during the day and lower 40s-maybe upper 30s at night. I know rain is forcasted for most of Western Massachusetts and Connecticut straight through the weekend due to this pesky hurricane. Check weather.com

Thanks Goldengal9. Yes it is Wpg to Montreal to Bradley. I worry because of this one stop, she could get stuck in Montreal if the flight down is cancelled. They are flying her out there so the interview could be rescheduled but due some other things it would be good to get over it ASAP. Thanks again.

According to my mother who is in Rhode Island, she said the radio said the worst is over. Many people in RI and MA do not have electricity, and probably won't for most of the week. Not sure about CT. Boston just announced they will have school tomorrow.

I live in Eastern MA and the worst is over here (alrhough its still pouring) but the storm itself just made landfall in NJ 4 hours ago. I know it's suppose to move northwest so I'm not sure if it will be doing more harm to western Ma/Conn. I think the sun us finally suppose to be out late Thursday/ Friday.

Just bumping this up for you and anybody in CT to respond. The two states MA and RI appear to be okay, at least from the people I have talked to that are within an hour of Hartford.
