Kevin Sumlin is a great coach. He left us to take the Houston job for head coaching experience and did a lot with the Cougars. He is on my short list to replace our coach whenever he retires.

K-State keeps rolling. I expect Bill Snyder to be Coach of the Year, well deserved. This is the second time he has brought K-State from nowhere to Top Ten. They play good football on both sides of the ball.

It will be interesting to see who is #1 today since we've played (and lost) to two of the teams. Honestly, K-State played us much better than ND. ND benefitted from "lucky" calls that changed the momentum, K-State just dominated.

CFB Bowl Predictions

It'll be interesting to see how close the predictions are to the actual Bowl Matchups.

Via Athlon Sports:

College football's bowl season is inching closer, but it's never too early to take a look at what the matchups might look like. With 11 weeks of results in the books, it's beginning to get easier to make projections about which teams will be eligible for the postseason.
The post-Week 11 bowl projections are a mixture between how things would look if the season ended today, future schedules, and a dose of the results so far this year. Expect more changes over the next few weeks.

* Indicates an at-large team due to a conference unable to fill bowl slots according to Athlon's projections

Well, we won the game against Boston College by the skin of our teeth yesterday. Last up is next Saturday against UVA. Go Hokies!!

Some major upsets yesterday, boy did Baylor ever stick it to you K State, didn't see that one coming. Some very odd matchups yesterday too, such as WCU and Bama.

The show 60 Minutes is doing a story on College Football tonight, talks about the money the programs bring in and how the revenues from such matchups as the WCU/Bama game benefits the smaller schools. Saw an Ad for it and also watched the preview of the report, looks interesting.

Looking forward to seeing the new BCS rankings.........

My buckeyes are consistently giving me a heart attack every week...I guess with that silly sanction put on them, Urban Meyer can play around without worry of messing up chances for a bowl game. Congrats to Notre Dame for moving up in the ranks.

You got to admit Urban Meyer has had a very impressive year with the Buckeyes. Don't feel bad, my team is on NCAA sanctions this year too. Unfortunately they haven't had the year the Buckeyes have had, but then again the schools along Tobacco Road are more known for their BB than for FB.
