Colorado State University, in partnership with Morris Animal Foundation, is undertaking a long-term cancer study using golden retrievers. They are looking for owners of young dogs with at least a three-generation pedigree to follow long term, as in 10+ years if possible. You don't need to live in Colorado, but I believe that you will need to participate through visits with your own vet on a regular basis. If you're interested, the study particulars can be found at this website, www.CanineLifetimeHealth.org - they're looking to enroll 3,000 goldens in this study.

I signed Yogi up right after we got him and gave his vet the link so she can sign up too. We have a few more months until we need to get that initial visit done.

I believe they've been recruiting dogs for over 2 years now and this used to be a sticky, but I guess it got unstuck at some point.
