We are all doing the happy dance here for Skylar and her family!!! Cathy I can't tell you just how happy I am for you and Skyar...just over joyed!!! Oh I did want to add this too. Just Mary's (the breeder of Skylar) thoughts that I wanted to share with you all. She said that she thought that with all the news out there on Skylar really is what brought her home. She thinks that whoever stole her got scared once there was so much attention around her being stolen. ( As Cathy had said) She said that eventually she would have to go to a vet and the tattoo would be seen so they dumped her. She said see TATTOO'S DO WORK and she was not saying that just because she is a registered tattooist for the National Dog Registry. Anyway my point is please consider getting your beloved golden a tattoo. As Mary said it is permanent and an instant way of seeing that the dog does belong to someone. I posted a thread on the tattoos in the discussion section. I have mine with both the tattoo and the micro chip. Contact your local golden retriever club and I am sure they can tell you who a tattooist is in your area. It is only about $20 or $25 dollars to have this done if you go though a club.....or it is in our area. Hugs, Barbara
