hi everyone. Just to say hi and introduce me and my fuzzy companion. I'm joan(otherwise known as Tia's mum) and my dog is Tia. She is eight years old and not too well at the moment. She has just been diagnosed wth a liver problem which has knocked the stuffing from her. From being a bouncy food hoover to being lethargic and not wanting food, it is causing concern. She is in the hands of a great vet and we're hopeful she will recover. This site is marvellous and reassuring to know that there are other retriever owners who love their dogs as much as I love my tia.
Hi Joan and Tia  Welcome to the forum! I'm so sorry Tia isn't feeling well, I hope they can get her back to her old self soon ♥
There are many really nice people here that have been through these things and are always willing to answer questions. I just wanted to say Hi :wavey:
Hi Joan and Tia, from Barnaby and my mum in southern scotland. So nice to have you on the forum, everybody here is so warm and welcoming. There is always someone on the site with tips and advice. Sorry to hear Tia isn't feeling too good, we are keeping everything crossed that she will recover soon. I have just come through cancer surgery so I know what a worry it is. Goldie Hugs to all x
Welcome to GRF! :wavey: Although I'm sorry you found under sadder circumstances. Hope your girl is feeling better soon. Care to show us what she looks like? We love pictures of each others' dogs.
Hi eveyone and thanks for your warm welcome. Just an update with Tia. She's been to Dr Dog today and shows slight improvement, still not herself but there's room for optimism. Its been really heartwarming for me to recieve your messages of support and best wishes. Just wish I had come to this site earlier. I'll post a couple of pictures of Tia very soon. Bye for now. Joan and Tia xxx
Sorry you found the site due to a negative event, I did too.. This site was/is very helpful during the darker days with our fur babies. I hope your Tia makes a full recovery and look forward to some pictures.
