It was a lot of fun BUT it was REALLY packed so it was overwhelming for the dogs. At one point Sydney dove into a quiet booth for a timeout.
Thanks for the info. One of mine is not thrilled with crowds and the other is not impressed with other dogs, especially little ones, getting in her face. I think maybe I will skip it, no point asking for trouble. My 2 did the Royal Winter Fair, for 10 days at the beginning of the month, lots of people not many dogs, and I think maybe they have had enough "adventure" for awhile. Are you located in the city of toronto or the gta?
Right in Toronto! I went to the RAWF (always do!) but didn't think of taking Sydney because of the horse show / dinner etc. But, that would be fun during the day - she would for sure wonder what all the animals are!
Next year. One of mine watches the horse show, the other curls up and goes to sleep totally uninterested. My young one, liked the baby cows, but was a little worried about the full-size ones. She went nuts over the sheep, she forgets she is NOT a border collie . We are in Burlington
